1/1/12: Happy New Year, and HAPPY WEDDING YEAR to all of our 2012 brides! We cannot wait to celebrate one of the biggest years of your life with you. This year is going to be a good one.

Congratulations, Newly Engaged People!! Yay! It seems like everyone got engaged over the holidays, and we are very excited to start hearing from all of you who are new "fiances"! Just as a reminder: If you have previously contacted us about a date, we only hold dates with the contract and wedding deposit to be fair to everyone. The first person who submits their contract and deposit will receive that date. We have filled up many of/most of the Spring/Summer 2012 and are getting a LOT of Fall and Winter '12 and early '13 inquiries daily. We aren't able to keep up with the status of each inquiry and only record our booked weddings when it comes to holding dates, so please keep this in mind so that you can get the photographer you want (This would be us. Obviously ;).

2012 Weddings: now! We REALLY want to be your photographers {ESPECIALLY if you read our blog}. We are booking weddings at about a year in advance right now, but we DO still have openings in 2012 (definitely contact us, even if your wedding is sooner than a year away!). Remember: we won't tell if you don't have the ring yet. Heehee....

Schedule Your Spring Portraits Now: The remainder of the spring (Feb-May) is being booked right now for engagement/bridal portraits, and newborn/baby portraits are scheduled around the baby's birth (however, book as soon as possible for newborn portraits so that we can keep openings in our schedule around your baby's birth).

Thank you for visiting our blog. I am Lauren Aves, and my husband Will and I are Aves Photographic Design. About a year ago, we moved our studio to 4909 Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth, TX, (soon after which our photography business sort-of exploded; yay! This is only thanks to our God and Savior for giving us EVERYTHING; it's so obvious-how could I not state it before?), and we love our home in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Portrait Availability: Due to our weekend wedding schedule, we only accept portrait sessions on weekdays. We keep all upcoming weekends open for weddings and the events that surround them. Our portrait schedule books up at around 4-6 weeks out (further in advance for popular portrait times of the year like October and March), so we recommend that you schedule your session as soon as you have decided you would like us as your photographers in order to have the best selection of dates you desire.
