Joy is the kind of person that everyone wants to be. I can easily say that because even in the first five minutes of having met her, we could feel her kindness and gentleness. It was as if, throughout her life, she flawlessly grew into her own name.
Even with as many dreams, hopes, and aspirations as her parents had for her when they named her, they had no idea how wonderful she would become. Or how her kind spirit would affect theirs as she grew into this extraordinary person. This is just another reason why, when people say “God’s plan is so much more than anything you could have planned for or could even imagine yourself,” I believe them. Because there are people like Joy in the world.

The way Michael loves her cannot even be described. She is everything to him. So when he saw her wearing this dress. Slowly walking, arm in arm with her Dad, down the aisle toward him; he was unable to catch his breath. She looked amazing, yes.
But Joy. Was. Amazing.
