9/6/10: Fall is quickly approaching, and our FAVORITE month, October (it's the new June. Plus, it's my birthday month, although I'm not liking my birthday so much anymore the closer I get to 30...two twenties birthdays left, though! Eek!), is just about full. I'm going to go ahead and post the remaining September/October dates we have available, and if you'd like to schedule your portraits to be taken during the BEST MONTH OF THE YEAR, in Texas anyway, to snag one of the dates.

Remaining dates available (we cannot guarantee that they will still be open when you contact us, but we'll try to keep this current. Dates are reserved by paying the sitting fee or by purchasing a wedding package which includes your session). Sept: 29th; Oct: 5, 12, 20, 21, 26, 27

Due to our wedding schedule, there are no remaining weekends for the rest of the year available for portrait sessions. All 2011 weekends are reserved for weddings. Portrait sessions are held on Tuesdays through Fridays, two hours prior to sunset for the prettiest light of day, and you can get more information on our website under info/portrait info.

Hello there.

Thank you for visiting our blog. I am Lauren Aves, and my husband Will and I are Aves Photographic Design. We recently moved our studio to 4909 Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth, TX, (soon after which our photography business sort-of exploded; whoopee! This is only thanks to God for giving us EVERYTHING; it's so obvious-how could I not state it before?), and we love our home in Dallas/Fort Worth.

It has been a wonderful adventure getting to explore new locations and photograph more and more fabulous dresses and couples by the day. Thank you all for this enormous blessing, and stay beautiful! Lauren and Will

Hi there. I am Lauren Aves, and my husband Will and I are Aves Photographic Design. We create artwork out of everyday moments. Our photography style can be described as modern, journalistic, romantic, fashionable, warm, emotional, and candid. Sometimes just one or two of those, sometimes all of the above.

We live for weddings and enjoy the challenge of creating a lasting image documentary of such an important day in our clients’ lives. We love to become close with each and every person we work with, and we love finding something new and shiny out of everyday life.
