It was right after the giant February snowstorm of 2010, and Will’s college roommate/groomsman Mark was bringing his fiance Katie to meet us for the first time. After spending the weekend with them, we are thoroughly convinced that Katie is perfect for Mark and that Mark is perfect for Katie! She’s just as funny, kind, considerate, and down-to-earth as Mark has always been, which is why he’s one of Will’s very best friends. Mark and Katie, congratulations on starting your new life together! We are so happy for you both and can’t imagine anyone more perfect for Mark.

We started around the Montgomery Plaza area and then just drove to follow the pretty light. It was awesome.

This had to be taken to record the fact that there was still actual SNOW on the ground. Which we still can’t believe in Texas.

It turns out that snow is a great reflector of light. Which should be obvious, but testing the theory out was really fun.

Katie, you are so gorgeous! I love your hair in this picture.

I was in love with this light.

They are so happy together.

As the sun set, we brought Mark and Katie to our new stomping ground: the new studio on Camp Bowie. There was a lot of waiting for cars to pass, but they listened to my great idea of running in to the middle of the street to kiss. Haha. I liked the street lights and I think it was worth it.

On the left, you can see the spaces with the awnings next door to our new studio. The finishing touches are being completed this week, and the move is next week! Craaazy. I can’t believe we will be here every day soon.
Mark and Katie, thanks for letting us drag you around Fort Worth in the freezing cold! Congratulations on being engaged and coming over to the dark side of being married. I think you’ll love it.
